The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission requires providers to attach a compliance self-assessment report carried out against the Aged-Care Quality Standards when applying for re-accreditation. Link
Providers must also have a written continuous compliance improvement plan that explains how they intend to improve their quality of care and services; which the Commission can request at any time. Link
Unfortunately, producing compliance assessments and improvement plans across multiple homes and services can be a highly time-consuming and sometimes frustrating task; especially when using the Commission’s MS Word templates.
The reason organisations are turning away from MS Word and MS Excel templates to manage compliance is they are notoriously difficult to administer and maintain.
Standalone templates can also be easily altered and manipulated without anyone knowing.; read more here.
Compliance Master® enables Australian aged-care providers to assess and manage all their compliance and continuous improvement activities from the convenience of one highly secure software platform.
Furthermore, there is no time-consuming set-up or configuration requirements. Each subscription comes with a pre-configured checklist template which covers all the mandatory compliance requirements outlined in the aged-care quality standards.
Providers can also create and tailor their own checklist templates to monitor and report their compliance with other standards, regulations and specified requirements.
